INTRODUCTORY TACTICAL RIFLE
Introductory Tactical Rifle is a two day class for 2 to 4 students.  Cost is $395 per person.

A deposit of $50.00 is required per person for each class. Deposit must be received prior to class confirmation.

Course Hours: 16
Course Prerequisites: None
Equipment Required: Serviceable and acceptable AR Platform Rifle. Hearing and eye protection. Ammunition.
Minimum Classroom Age: 12
Minimum Firing Range Age: 12 with presence of parent or legal guardian


COURSE DESCRIPTION

Day 1:  Approximate 8 Hour Classroom session at Thunderbolt Guns covering the following subjects:
1.  Firearm Safety in Depth;
2.  Weapon Handling - Understanding the handling of the weapon and operation of it controls
3.  Basic Combat Marksmanship - Fundamentals of Marksmanship - Body Positions, Shot Preparation and Breathing, Trigger Control, Sight Alignment, Follow Through and Recoil Recovery.
4.  Dry Fire Practice;
5.  Wind Direction , Value and Velocity;
6.  Optics.

Day 2:  Live Fire Range Exercise  -  Practical Application of Subjects Covered  in Classroom.
1.  Zeroing of Sights;
2.  Multiple Courses of Fire;
3.  Remedial Action Drills:
4.  Maintenance of Your Data Book.








NOTICE: AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE COURSE INSTRUCTOR, ANY IMPROPER OR UNSAFE WEAPONS HANDLING OR FAILURE TO OBEY RANGE COMMANDS WILL RESULT IN STUDENT’S IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM FIRING LINE AND/OR DISMISSAL FROM CLASS. THERE WILL BE NO REFUND.
